Birds

In Costa Rica there are over 850 species of birds. Serving as an intercontinental bridge, one can find a great variety of native, endemic and migratory species, from both North and South America. In San Gerardo de Rivas, the terrain presents a grand spectrum of relief and elevations. Our proximity to Chirripó National Park and the wide variety of landscapes provide excellent habitat for the more than 237 species of birds identified, a number that increases each year.
