Size:  16 cm.

Weight:  27 grams.

Elevation:  up to 2,200 meters above sea level.

 

Searches for food on the ground, looking for insects, spiders, and other invertebrates.  Can climb to medium height in search of berries and some seeds.

They are solitary, on some occasions, they can be seen in pairs.

They are very timid and careful.  They have a beautiful song.

Often territorial among other species of migratory Catharus.

The orange feet, beak, and eye rings are very distinctive and characteristic.
